Munguia could be the next Mexican boxing superstar. Already a world champion, the 22-year-old from Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico has accrued a record of 31-0 with 26 KO. At 6’0″, Munguia is huge for the 154-pound division, and many believe his future will be at middleweight.

With Munguia signing with Golden Boy and DAZN in December, you have to wonder if he and Canelo Alvarez are on a collision course. That fight could be one of the biggest in the sport in the next two years, but for now, Munguia still has some work to do.

Inoue is undefeated, but largely unknown, especially in the United States. The 29-year-old has fought outside of Japan just once, and that was in Thailand. He’s giving up four inches in height to Munguia and most likely a good deal of punching power.

There aren’t a ton of big names in action, but the entire card is an excellent showcase of young Latino talent. Undefeated prospect Vergil Ortiz Jr. takes on Jesus A Valdez Barrayan in a good step up in competition. Jesus M Rojas puts his WBA regular featherweight title on the line against Can Xu.

Also on DAZN–at the very same time–is Bellator 214. One of the promotion’s bigger cards is set to feature its biggest draw, Fedor Emelianenko in the finals of the Heavyweight Grand Prix against current light heavyweight champion Ryan Bader. While Bellator will pull some viewership on the strength of Fedor, the real competition comes from the return of Keith “One-Time” Thurman. The WBA Super World welterweight champion returns from a nearly two-year absence to defend his title against Josesito Lopez.Watch Now
